A new build residential scheme regenerating a vacant triangular site located between railway lines and a Channel Tunnel vent shaft close to Highbury Corner.

The design was developed in response to a series of unique challenges presented by the site which included:- a change in level of approximately 3m, railway lines on either side of the site, restrictions on loading due to the proximity of the channel tunnel and boundaries with 3 different conservation areas.

The scheme is 100% affordable housing, consisting of 30 dwellings in a split level building with family homes provided as duplex units with direct access from Corsica Street. All homes are designed to meet Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4, utilising both photo-voltaic and solar thermal technologies, extensive bio-diverse roofs and a Sustainable Urban Drainage Strategy.
